L’importation de boissons alcoolis\u00e9es a commenc\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, lorsque la 4\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Carlos & Louis Filliers, \u00e9tait \u00e0 la t\u00eate. Les fr\u00e8res \u00e9taient bons amis avec un marchand de vin flamand nomm\u00e9 Thienpont. Ils ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper les affaires de chacun au niveau international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsque la cinqui\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Jan & Bernard Filliers, a repris l’entreprise dans les ann\u00e9es 1980, ils ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’abandonner le vin et de se concentrer uniquement sur l’importation de spiritueux haut de gamme en vue de les distribuer en Belgique et au Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cons\u00e9quence, un portefeuille d’importation de Whiskies Single Malt haut de gamme d’Ecosse existe \u00e0 ce jour, et Filliers Distillery peut se consid\u00e9rer comme un importateur fid\u00e8le de la deuxi\u00e8me marque de champagne la plus renomm\u00e9e au monde, Charles Heidsieck. Elle importe \u00e9galement des rhums et des liqueurs haut de gamme du monde entier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aujourd’hui, une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence exceptionnelle peut \u00eatre fi\u00e8rement ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 l’histoire d’importation de Filliers Distillery. L’histoire de Rosebank a commenc\u00e9 en 1840 lorsqu’un marchand de vin local a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 distiller du whisky d’une mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9ciale, \u00e0 savoir par une triple distillation \u00e0 l’aide de condenseurs \u00e0 vis sans fin qui donnent une saveur plus profonde au spiritueux. Ce fut une r\u00e9ussite instantan\u00e9e! Au vingti\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, Rosebank \u00e9tait v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par les connaisseurs de whisky du monde entier et consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00abThe King of the Lowlands<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cependant, au cours des ann\u00e9es 1990, les ventes de whisky ont diminu\u00e9 et Rosebank a finalement d\u00fb fermer ses portes. Lorsque la structure du b\u00e2timent a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s’effondrer en 2017, Ian Macleod Distillers a emp\u00each\u00e9 Rosebank de devenir une note de bas de page dans l’histoire en rachetant l’emplacement d\u00e9labr\u00e9 du whisky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
